Simi's comment is wrong Sumit. Those are muslim religious flags which are taken out in a procession to a nearby dargah , blessed by the 'fakir'and then hoisted in front of their houses. The only thing in common with that and the Pakistani flag is that both are green. They are so different that even a person with an IQ of 50 wont mistake one for the other

ReplyDeleteSumit, green flag which you see are not pakistan flag (white and Green) but a full green flag where the kalma is written on it. For us its the same significance as the 2 prong saffron flag is for Hindus.
