Such is the lure of cheapness, some of the leading newspapers like Mid Day, SamayLive have published the stills from the alleged MMS, in their online versions. Mid Day even had published a section of the video!!! Obviously, to attract more hits, these newspapers can stoop to any level, without caring a fig for the social responsibilities.
My second point is voyeurism on internet. I have the full MMS video, but won't publish. At least now. I am conducting an online poll (you can cast your vote too) to check how many of us actually want to see the MMS. The result is there for you see...
There was a time when the public space invaded private spaces. Today it is the private space that has invaded the public zone. So much that there is left no formal public space left for people to breathe easy in.
I would submit this post on all social bookmarking sites - Digg, Mixx, Stumbleupon, Mybloglog, Reditt, Hotklix, Delicious, Salshdot and network with people. Your opinion counts. Tell me am I wrong to have taken this stand?

Girls who think themselves modern and get ready to go ahead with this kind of behavior (i will not say whether this act is good or bad, let the girls decide themselves), shall become mature first and then take any decision very carefully. Even a good boy also wants a a life partner who is responsible and honest. So girls shall not run away from their own responsibilities at any case. If a girl deny to participate in such an act, no boy can do this kind of cheap stuff!!!
I don't consider it a big deal to publicize the issue. The girl and the boy are equally responsible, premarital sex is the actual evil.

It is sad that people are pointing fingers at the girl or even the boy. The real crime here is the breach of trust between two people that has occurred. There are laws against breach of trust and the girl should seek full legal counsel to ensure that no one takes advantage of women in this way.
ReplyDeleteHowever, premarital sex is not the evil. We Indians have the biggest double standard of any place in the world. In one place we are proud to be the land of Kamasutra, the place which taught the world how to love. On the other hand, when a boy and a girl engage in a act of love, we condemn it. Rather than demonizing sex, we should be teaching teenagers and young adults to keep themselves.
Lets face it, even throughout history (and mythology) people have indulged in sex as an act of lust and love. It is natural and will always occur. However, it is important we teach everyone the risks of such an act, things that they do not necessarily consider while in a state of desire.
I just don't understand the hype, Both of them are at fault and should get the lesson. Another aspect is that "why the girls aren't getting the message?" this is not first time such thing happened still they are indulging in these act... i am not against these act as they are legally allowed to take their own decision, but can't they be a little safe... this is proven fact now that any thing in soft format (mean digital format) can end up on web... virtually everything.. and still these are guys and girls and just living in insane...

Initially when this incident come on new paper, i dont bother to read it ... but then it keep coming and finally i also get interested in it to know what's it all about?

so now we have a problem with wat a couple does behind close doors..this is awesome, first you can't show "affection" in public and now you have to be fearful because you don't know if your partner who you might be trusting is a pervert..i think over here is issue is more about hacking the account than anything else..but as usual the beholders of Indian culture will again twist this issue and debate if premarital sex is an evil, if exotic dancing is a part of our culture..
